Hey Jack! Today was lazy; I got to wake up at one o'clock :). How was your Sunday?

Well, here goes!

Brighton High School had its prom yesterday! No, I did not go, but I was as excited for prom as some of the people who were actually going. Why? Well, for the people going, prom means beautiful dresses (hopefully), tuxedos (hopefully, with no skinny ties), glamorous shoes (no animal prints please), limos, and a grindfest. However, for me, it means tons of pictures and hours of Facebook stalking. In short, a guaranteed good day.

It goes without saying that the first thing I did when I woke up this morning was jump onto my computer chair, literally, and log into Facebook. I was very disappointed that prom photos were not up yet. Thankfully, they were posted within the next hour. This year's prom dresses? Alright. Some were beautiful dresses, but they're beauty was sadly degraded by the wearer. This was not because the wearer wasn't beautiful, but because the dress simply did not flatter her. I also saw the reverse: beautiful girls wearing not so beautiful dresses. Though, there were three people that I will never forget, for they looked absolutely stunning. They belonged on red carpets.

Most of the guys looked great. Guys look so good in suits. Sadly, one rarely gets to see them in them. Of course, I expected the guys to look good because it's kind of hard to screw up a tux, which is exactly why I have no sympathy for male movie stars looking awful. They have no excuse. It's a tux damn it! How can you possibly screw up a tie, shirt, jacket, and pants? Please Daniel Radcliffe, pull yourself together! Never again should I see you in a metallic suit! (Sorry, it's just that when I think of bad suits, the first person to come to mind is Daniel Radcliffe).

Overall, the stalkathon was very enjoyable :). At least it wasn't as disappointing as the Oscars' red carpet. Actually, it wasn't very disappointing at all. I can't wait until I go to prom. We get to have a chocolate fountain! Win. Two more years; two more years to go.

On a different note, there are many things I'm currently missing that have disappeared from my life due to the chaos that freshman year has bestowed upon me. No more manga, anime, reading leisurely, watching the little TV I used to (I miss you Jon Steward, John Oliver, and Wilmore!), video games (I still need the fourth game of the .hack// series), or hanging out with friends all the time. I can't say, though, that I haven't had a LOT of fun this year. Extracurriculars suck up time, but the friendships that are made through them makes it all worth it. I have to say, though, I miss you very much L :(. Hopefully I'll be able to be with you again in the very near future.

One last thing before I go: Friday night was a dream come true. Why? I FINALLY GOT TO BELLY DANCE WITH A COIN BELT! Yes, I belly dance, along with various other dances. I took a class in May and June of last year for belly dancing. It was an eight-week thing, with class being held once a week. I have yet to sign up for the next session, and I can't wait! I had always wanted to dance with a coin belt because it makes the dance look so much prettier! Sadly, to this day,I do not own one. However, the friend whose birthday party I went to last Friday is Arabic, therefore, her mom was a belly dancer and owned coin belts, one of which, she let me wear! She brought over her Persian bellydancing CD so I could dance. It was AMAZING! I got to dance with her too, and she was a very graceful and beautiful dancer!

Oh, and here's a corny joke that my friend just sent me. It's so bad, that it's actually hilarious. It's also possible that I just found it funny because I'm extremely tired right now, therefore somewhat delirious. Well, here it is:

How do you wake up Lady Gaga?

P-p-p poke her face.

Good night everyone!
